NOTE:

High-speed (2 port) mode is available only if the XP disk array has firmware version 21.06.22 or

later installed.

The following icons are used to indicate status:

Port table

The Port table displays information about the ports in the selected CHA packages. The information in this

table differs depending on the type of channel adapter package selected in the tree.
The table lists the following for Fibre Channel CHA packages:

Port Name: Displays port names

Type: Fibre indicates a Fibre Channel port, used for connecting open system hosts. MF-Serial indicates

an ESCON

®

port, used for connecting mainframe hosts.

Host Speed: Specifies the data transfer speed for Fibre Channel ports. If Auto is selected, the disk array

automatically sets the data transfer speed to 1 GB/sec or 2 GB/sec.

Addr (Loop ID): Displays addresses of ports. You can change port addresses.

Fabric: Specify ON if a fabric switch is used, or OFF if no fabric switch is used

Connection: Specifies the topology. The default is FC-AL. Some fabric switches require you to specify

point-to-point topology. Check the switch’s documentation.

Attribute: Indicates whether the port is an initiator port, target port, RCU target port, or external port

WWN: Displays WWNs of ports.

The table lists the following for iSCSI CHA packages:

Port Name: Displays iSCSI port names

IP Address: Displays the iSCSI port IP addresses

Subnet Mask: Displays subnet masks

Gateway: Displays gateway addresses

iSCSI Name: Displays iSCSI port names

iSCSI Alias: Displays iSCSI port aliases

Port Number: Displays iSCSI port numbers

Keep Alive Timer: Displays the keep-alive timer values in seconds

INS Server: Indicates whether you can register the iSCSI port in the ISNS server
Enable: You can register the iSCSI port
Disable: You cannot register the iSCSI port

iSNS IP Address: Displays the IP address of the ISNS server

iSNS Port No: Displays the TCP port number of the iSNS server

MAC Address: Displays the iSCSI port media access control (MAC) addresses
