B Support and warranty

The information in this section suggests solutions to common problems. If your printer is not operating
properly and those suggestions did not solve your problem, try using one of the following support services
to obtain assistance.

Toolbox

The Toolbox is available only to Windows users. You must have installed the printer driver through
AUTORUN.EXE. After installing your printer, you can open the Toolbox by clicking Start, pointing to
Programs, pointing to HP Business Inkjet 1000 Series, and clicking HP Business Inkjet 1000 Series
Toolbox.

The

Troubleshooting tab in the Toolbox provides easy step-by-step solutions to common printing problems.

You should be able to resolve most printing problems by stepping through the provided solutions.

HP Instant Support

HP Instant Support, which is available only to Windows users, is a Web-based tool that provides product-
specific services, troubleshooting tips, and information about your printer’s ink and media usage. To open
HP Instant Support, click HP Instant Support on the Toolbox’s

Information tab.
