3.12 Removing the System Reporter Components

This section describes how to remove the 3PAR System Reporter Components. This includes

removing the System Reporter sampler and default database, as well as deleting the optional

MySQL database (when applicable).

3.12.1 Removing the System Reporter Tools on Windows

To remove the System Reporter tools on WIndows:

Go to the Windows Control Panel, open Administrative Tools and then Services.

In the Services window, right-click 3PAR System Reporter sampler and then click

Stop. Close the Services window.

From a command prompt, change to the directory where you installed the 3PAR System

Reporter tools:

Execute the following command:

Exit and close the command prompt window.

Using Windows Explorer, go to the location where you installed the 3PAR System

Reporter tools (for example,

C:\Program Files\3par\System Reporter

) and delete

the entire directory.

Locate and remove the

inservstats.db

file if the file was in a location other than the

System Reporter folder. Also remove the file

inservstats.db-journal

if present in the

same folder.

(Optional). In the location where you installed Apache HTTP Server, locate the

htdocs

directory (for example,

C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs

) and

delete the

3par

subdirectory (

C:\Program Files\Apache

Group\Apache2\htdocs\3par)

.

# cd \program files\3par\system reporter

# winserv uninstall "3PAR System Reporter sampler”

# exit
