When the LDEV tab is active, the Auto LUN window contains the following information:

Current monitoring status:

Enable: Performance Monitor is monitoring the storage system

Disable: The storage system is not being monitored.

Monitoring Switch

Current interval of collecting statistics in short range monitoring. Gathering Interval
displays a number between 1 and 15 to indicate how often data collection is performed.

If the number of CUs to be monitored is 64 or less, the interval value is between 1
and 15 minutes. For example, if 1 min. is displayed, the information obtained every
one minute is updated in the list and the graph.

If 65 or more CUs are monitored, the statistics are updated every 5, 10, or 15
minutes.

Gathering Interval

Select the storing period of statistics (monitoring data). The statistics displayed in the
LDEV tab are stored only in short range, therefore, shortrange is displayed in this
list and you cannot change it. The range of monitoring data that can be displayed
in the window is between 8 hours and 15 days depending on the gathering interval.

Select the type of statistics to view in the window. To view I/O rates, select IOPS
(I/Os per second) from the list. To view transfer rates, select MB/s (megabytes per
second) from the list.
