Wait until maintenance operations finish at the SVP, so that the set command can execute.

When the set command starts or ends the monitoring or changes the gathering interval after the
Auto LUN window is started, the contents displayed in the Auto LUN window does not change
automatically in conjunction with the set command operation. To display the current monitoring
status in the Auto LUN window, click File, and then Refresh on the menu bar of the Remote Web
Console main window.

If you change the specified gathering interval during a monitoring, the previously gathered mon-
itoring data will be deleted.

Description

Operand

To start monitoring, specify the gathering interval (interval of collecting statistics) of
monitoring data at m. Specify a value between 1 and 15 in minutes. m is the gathering
interval in short range monitoring by Performance Monitor. Note that the gathering
interval in long range is fixed to 15 minutes.
To end monitoring, specify off.
If this operand is omitted, the set command does not make settings for starting or ending
monitoring.

Example

The following command file saves port statistics and then ends monitoring ports:

set switch=off

The following command file starts monitoring remote copy operations. The sampling time interval is
10 minutes:

svpip 158.214.135.57
login expusr passwd
set switch=10
