Additional Information
To upgrade firmware using a
data disc

From your computer, connect to the
Internet and visit the manufacturer’s
website.

Download the firmware upgrade file to
your computer.

Use commercial CD/DVD recording
software, such as Nero™, to convert the
*.iso file to a disc image.

Burn the converted file onto a disc.

Remove any inserted disc or USB drive
from the Blu-ray player. And turn off the
Blu-ray player.

Turn the Blu-ray player back on.

Insert the upgrade disc. The upgrade
screen may take some time to appear.

Follow the on-screen instructions to
start the upgrade. If the disc does not
automatically update, press HOME on
the remote control. Use
to select
General Setting > System > Upgrade
> Disc, then press OK. The firmware
upgrade will begin.

Once completed, a message will appear
on the screen.
