ICAPSTATUS

Command:

ICAPSTATUS

Description:

Allows a display of the Superdome 2 system iCAP status in a format similar to an HP UX-based
icapstatus

. By default, the OA icapstatus command will display information on all

nPars and vPars that are active.

The options for the command:

Generate an audit snapshot
codeword. This encrypts a summary

--audit-snapshot

-s

of the complex iCAP state, and must
be presented at the HP iCAP portal
in order to acquire codewords to
modify iCAP state.

Specify the nPar and vPar, separated
by “:”. If omitted when executed on

--partition n[:v]

-p n[:v]

the OA, no “local partition”
information is shown. When invoked
through IPMI from an OS, defaults to
the originating partition.

Display the current number of active
cores in the nPar specified by -p.

--active-cores

-a

Display the current number of inactive
cores in the nPar specified by -p.

--inactive-cores

-I | -i

Report iCAP software version.

--revision

-r

Display the total number of cores in
the nPar specified by -p.

--total-cores

-t

Return 0, 0 means that the hardware
is supported by iCAP.

--hardware-support

-z

Generate machine-readable status.
Format keywords would include

--format f

-M

delimited, the traditional format of
data separated by “:” characters.

Access level/Bay level:

All

Restriction:

You must be connected to the monarch OA.
