Common Actions Panel
The Common Actions panel provides quick access to functions commonly performed with each
manager in the Manager Pane. Clicking an action listed in the Common Action panel launches
that action's wizard. As with the
“Management Tree” (page 17) , the functions provided in the
Common Actions panel are specific to the selected manager from the “Manager Pane” (page 18) .
Unavailable functions are displayed in grey. For example, in the figure below, the actions displayed
in the Common Actions panel are specific to the Systems manager selected in the Manager Pane.
Manager Pane
Managers are groups of displays and actions, which are specific to different systems' areas of
management. The selected manager affects the
“Management Tree” (page 17) display, data
displayed in the “Management Window” (page 24) , and, if applicable, the actions in the “Common
Actions Panel” (page 18) .
The following managers are contained in the Manager Pane:
“System Manager” (page 19)
“Host Manager” (page 19)
“Provisioning Manager” (page 20)
“Layout Grid Manager” (page 21)
“Remote Copy Manager” (page 22)
“Performance Manager” (page 22)
