Get Started with Contacts

Here is some basic information about contacts.

You can create a Google contact, a phone contact,
or a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync contact.

Contacts are stored locally to the phone’s memory.

Contacts are sorted alphabetically by default.

Google contacts sync with your existing Google
account, and you can import them to the phone after
when you set up your Google account on your
phone.

Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (also known as
Outlook) contacts are those contacts intended to
share with either an Exchange Server or from
Microsoft® Outlook®.

Important:

You must synchronize your email accounts after
setup to verify that your Contacts display on the
device.
