Battery Level: Shown fully charged.

Charging Indicator: Battery is charging. Blue bars
progress and surround the interior as the battery
charges.

Note: If you use a charger that is not approved by

Samsung, this indicator does not display.

Charging via USB: Battery is charging via a direct USB
connection to your computer.

Device Power Critical: Battery critically low. Less than
13% power remaining. Charge immediately.

USB Connected: Device is connected to a computer
using a USB cable.

New Message: Displays when new text or multimedia
messages are received. The number of new
messages is indicated inside of the circle.

New Email Message: You have new email.

Displays when an alarm is set.
For more information, refer to “Setting an Alarm” on
page 104.

Silent mode: Displays when the Vibrate mode is set to
Never or Only when not in silent mode, and the Sound
profile is set to silent. See “Silent mode” on page 112.

Vibrate mode: Displays when the Vibrate mode is set
to Always or Only in silent mode, and the Sound profile
is set to silent. See “Vibration settings” on page 112.

Preparing SD Card: The microSD card is being
prepared for mounting to the tablet. This is required
for proper communication with the microSD card.

microSD Unmounted: Your microSD card has been
disconnected (unmounted) from the tablet and is now
ready for either removal or formatting.

Wi-Fi Active: Wi-Fi is connected, active, and
communicating with a Wireless Access Point (WAP).

Wi-Fi Action Needed: Action needed to connect to
Wireless Access Point (WAP).

Displays when GPS is acquiring a signal.
