Preparing Your Device
Before using your device, install the SIM card and an optional
microSD card (not included), and then charge the battery.
Important! Before installing the SIM card, be sure the device
is powered off.
To turn the device off, press and hold down the
Power key until the Device options pop-up
appears, and then touch Power off.
Installing the SIM Card
When you subscribe to a 4G LTE cellular network, you are
provided with a plug-in SIM card loaded with your
subscription details, such as your PIN, available optional
services, and many others features. This SIM card will only
work with this device.
Important! The SIM card must be installed for your device to
establish a network connection.
The SIM card information and its contacts can be
easily damaged by scratching or bending, so be
careful when handling, inserting, or removing the
card. Keep all SIM cards out of reach of small
children.
1. The SIM slot is on the top left of the device, to the left
of the ir blaster if you are looking at the port. Remove
the cover to the SIM card slot.
2. Carefully insert the 4G LTE SIM card with the Verizon
logo face up.
3. Push the SIM card until it clicks into place.
4. Replace the SIM card slot cover.
