About Device
This menu contains legal information, system tutorial
information, and other device information such as the model
number, firmware version, baseband version, kernal version,
and software build number.
To access device information:
Ⅲ From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔
Settings
➔ About device.
The following information displays:
• Icon glossary: View a list of your tablet’s notification
and status icons.
• Status: View the status of your device. Battery status,
Battery level, Network, Signal strength, and so on, are
displayed as described on the screen.
• Legal information: Display open source licenses,
Google legal information, and Samsung legal
information.
• Device name: Enter the name for your device. The
default is the model number: SM-T537V.
• Model number: Your tablet’s model number.
• Android version: Android version loaded on your
tablet.
• Baseband version: Baseband version loaded on your
tablet.
• Kernel version: Kernel version loaded on your tablet.
• Build number: Software build number.
• SE for Android status: Display Security
Enhancements for Android status information.
• Hardware version: View the hardware version of your
tablet.
Note: Baseband, kernal, and build numbers are usually used
for updates to the handset or support. For additional
information please contact your Verizon service
representative.
