Calling Using the Keypad
The most “traditional” way to place a call is by using
the Phone keypad.
1. Press , and then tap .
2. Tap the number keys on the keypad to enter the
phone number.
Tip: As you enter digits, Smart Dial searches for contacts that
match. If you see the number you want to dial, tap it to
place the call immediately without entering the rest of the
number.
3. Tap to place the call.
Calling Using Speed Dials
Speed Dials are 1-, 2-, or 3-digit shortcuts (1 to 100)
you assign to contacts, to allow you to quickly call the
contact.

1. Press , and then tap .
2. Tap the digits of the speed dial, holding the last
digit until the call dials.
