2. PREPARING THE WATERBLOCK – Step 2 – Relocating
the mounting standoffs if necessary
The Komodo 5800 is configured for ATI‟s HD5870 model by default.
Simply relocate (3) of the standoffs identified above for use with the
HD5850 version.
2. PREPAREZ LE BLOC DE REFROIDISSEMENT LIQUIDE
– Etape 2 – Déplacer les standoffs si nécessaire.
Le bloc Komodo 5800 est configuré d‟origine pour la carte ATI HD5870.
Simplement déplacez les (3) standoffs identifiés ci-dessus pour utiliser
le bloc avec le modèle HD5850.
2. PREPARAR EL BLOQUE DE ENFRIAMIENTO LÍQUIDO –
Etapa 2 - desplazar los standoffs en caso necesario.
El bloque Komodo 5800 se configura de origen para la tarjeta ATI
HD5870. Simplemente desplazan los (3) standoffs definidos arriba para
utilizar el bloque con el modelo HD5850.
3. FASTENING THE WATERBLOCK TO THE GRAPHICS
CARD – Step 1
Remove the springs and screws from the stock cross-bracket. Longer
replacement screws are provided and will be used instead (without the
springs) for installation of the Komodo waterblock to the card.

SUR LA CARTE GRAPHIQUE- Etape 1
Démontez les ressorts et vis d‟origine de la plaque arrière qui est livrée
avec la solution de refroidissement d‟origine. Des vis plus longues sont
fournies et seront utilisées (sans les ressorts
) pour l‟installation du bloc
Komodo.
3. INSTALAR EL BLOQUE DE ENFRIAMIENTO LÍQUIDO
SOBRE LA TARJETA GRÁFICA Etapa 1
Desmontan los resortes y tornillo de origen de la placa posterior que se
suministra con la solución de enfriamiento original. Se proporcionan y
se utilizarán estos tornillos, más largos, (sin los resortes) para la
instalación del bloque Komodo.
3. FASTENING THE WATERBLOCK TO THE GRAPHICS
CARD – Step 2
Position the Komodo waterblock at the edge of your bench as shown
above, and then carefully place the graphics card on it while making
sure to align the card mountings holes with those of the waterblock.
3. INSTALLEZ LE BLOC DE REFROIDISSEMENT LIQUIDE
SUR LA CARTE GRAPHIQUE – Etape 2
Positionnez le bloc Komodo sur le bord de l‟établi comme indiqué ci-
dessus puis soigneusement posez dessus la carte graphique en
alignant correctement les trous de montage de la carte avec ceux du
bloc.
3. INSTALAR EL BLOQUE DE ENFRIAMIENTO LÍQUIDO
SOBRE LATARJETA GRÁFICA - Etapa 2
Colocar el bloque Komodo al borde del banco, como se indica arriba,
luego colocar cuidadosamente la gráfica, alineando correctamente los
agujeros de montaje de la tarjeta con los del bloque.
