4 Viewing and Deleting Pictures

Viewing Pictures (Playback Mode)

Press the

c (Playback) button.

The last picture shot is displayed in full-

frame playback mode.

Rotate the rotary multi selector, or press

H,

I, J or K to view previous or subsequent
pictures. Continue holding down

H, I, J

or

K to fast forward pictures.

Pictures can also be chosen by rotating the
command dial.

Pictures may be briefly displayed at low resolution immediately after switching to the

previous or next picture.

Press the

c button or the shutter-release button to switch to shooting mode.

C is displayed when pictures stored in the internal memory

are displayed. When a memory card is inserted, C is not
displayed and pictures stored on the memory card are
displayed.

When the Monitor Is Turned Off to Save Power

When the power-on lamp blinks, press the

c button to turn on the monitor again (A181).

Pressing the

c Button to Turn on the Camera

When the camera is off, holding down the

c button turns on the camera in playback mode. The lens

does not extend.

Viewing Pictures

Press the

x button to hide or show the shooting information and photo information on the

monitor (

A14).

Pictures taken in portrait (“tall”) orientation will be rotated automatically (

A180). The rotating

direction can be changed from the Rotate image option (

A130) in the playback menu (A122).
