Preparation:
A pressure reducer, adequate to the gas pressure in use (0,5 - 4 bar), must be installed. In
order to connect torch and pressure reducer or gas bottle, it is necessary the use of a certified

rubber hose adjusted to the working pressure of the gas, according to present regulation.
Use a counter tool for connecting handle (pos. 3) and hose (pos. 4) to assure a leak-proof
bond! Make sure that both parts are correctly fixed (counter clockwise). Stop valve (pos. 1)
and fine control valve (pos. 2) have to be closed (clockwise, as indicated on the valve).

- Use of extension tubes:

Fix extension tubes to the handles (clockwise). Connect burners to extension tubes
(clockwise).

- Use of burners with conventional threads connection:

Fix burners to handles (tight clockwise).

- Use of quick-coupling handle and burner:

Strongly introduce the end of the burner in the quick-coupling handle. For commercial

use apply a hose breaking protection. Turn on the gas bottle tap and check there are no
leaks through the connections.

Activation:
Open stop valve (pos. 1). Open fine control valve (pos. 2). Do not press the valve (flame
might change colour or even burn off)! Switch on the pilot flame by using a lighter or similar,
and regulate it with the fine control valve. Pressing the economy trigger (pos. 5) makes it
possible to work at maximum flame power.
In case the flame would

- uneven gas leaks
- flashback or
- clogging of the nozzle (flame burns blue but not yellow)
Î

Turn off the gas immediately to avoid danger of possible connection leak, less in the
burner or burner malfunction!

Turn off the gas bottle tap. Make sure there is no gas inside the torch circuit. Close stop valve
and fine control valve.
