Checking the total playing
time and titles
Press DISPLAY in stop mode.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
x When a CD/MP3 is in stop mode
Total number of tracks or total number of
albums
1) and total playing time
t Disc title 3) or volume label 4) or album name 2)
1) For discs with MP3 audio tracks in ALL ALBM
mode
2)
For discs with MP3 audio tracks in 1ALBM mode
3)
For discs with CD-TEXT
4) For discs with MP3 audio tracks, album titles or
volume label may not be displayed depending on the
play mode
x When MUSIC LIBRARY is in stop mode
• When the album is selected in stop mode
Total number of tracks in the album and total
playing time
t Album text
• When the track is selected in stop mode
Track number t Track text
Notes
• “– – –” appears when the number of MUSIC
LIBRARY tracks exceeds 999 tracks.
• “– – –.– –” appears when the MUSIC LIBRARY
time exceeds 999 minutes 59 seconds.
Viewing the tuner information
in the display
Press DISPLAY while listening to the radio.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
x When listening to the FM/AM radio
Station name 1)
t Preset number 2) and frequency
1) European model only, when receiving a Radio Data
System station name in FM mode
2)
Preset number is displayed only if you preset radio
stations (page 24).
To scroll a long name
Press SCROLL.
The title appears scrolling.
To pause the scrolling of the title, press
SCROLL again.
Note
You cannot scroll when:
– you listen to FM or AM.
– you listen to the sound from optional component.
