Removable components
You may need to remove previously installed system components when
installing or removing system devices, or when you need to replace
defective components. This section tells how to remove the following

To uninstall the system fans:
1.
Disconnect all the system fan
cables from the connectors on
the backplane board.
2.
Remove the four screws that
secure a fan.
3.
Repeat step 2 to uninstall the
other fans.
