Activating Anti Car-Jack
Mode (Method 1)

Anti Car-Jack Mode provides an additional
level of security in the event of a carjacking
or forced vehicle theft. When activated, Anti
Car-Jack mode will first warn the user by
"beeping" the remote control transmitter,
blinking the Extension LED rapidly (and
displaying a warning screen on the CVA-
1000, if installed), and after sixty seconds,
entering full alarm mode.
This section will describe how to arm the
SEA-8081 security system in Anti Car-Jack
mode.

Note: MAKE SURE THAT THIS FUNCTION

IS COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD
BEFORE IT IS USED. Please contact
your Alpine dealer if you have any
questions regarding this feature.

Press and release the EXT2/EXT3 and EXT
SELECT buttons simultaneously (when the
system is disarmed.)

Within 15 seconds, press and release the TX/
PANIC button to set the system to the arming
mode.
“ANTI-CARJACK ARM” will be shown on the
display of the remote control transmitter.

Press and release the TX/PANIC button.
“ANTI-CARJACK DISARM” will be shown on
the display of the remote control transmitter.
Now the Car-jack mode is activated.

Notes:

When using the function, the Dip switch
(S502-1) on the SEA-8081 Main Unit must
be ON. Consult with the Alpine dealer.

When driving the car, always release the
Car-jack mode.
