Recording from a VIDEO CD/CD

(CD Synchro Recording)

Recording manually

Load a recordable tape into the cassette holder.

Load a disc onto the disc tray.

Load a disc (or other audio source), or
tune in the desired station.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
“DVD” appears in the display.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to select
the source you want to record from.

Press CD SYNCHRO.

Press

z

REC.

The tape stands by for recording.

” and “B” (or “b”) appear.

To start recording on the side facing away from you, press TAPE

Press DIRECTION repeatedly to select “

” to record on one side of the tape, or

Recording to a tape

You can record from a DVD, VIDEO CD, CD (or connected components) or radio. You can use
Type I (normal) tape.

Press TAPE

, and then start playing

the desired source.

To stop recording

Press x (or TAPE x on the remote).

Note

Depending on the VIDEO CD, you cannot use the CD
Synchro Recording. In this case, record from the
VIDEO CD manually.

Tip

For recording manually:
To pause recording, press TAPE X.
