Troubleshooting

Indicators

The LAMP/COVER or TEMP/FAN indicator on the
control panel lights up or flashes if there is any trouble
with your projector.

Warning messages

Use the list below to check the meaning of the
messages displayed on the screen.

“Memory Stick”

The “Memory Stick”
cannot be inserted into
the “Memory Stick”
slot.

c Insert the “Memory Stick” with

the arrow mark pointing toward
the “Memory Stick” slot of the
projector. (

A still picture in the
“Memory Stick”
cannot be rotated or
deleted.

c Release the lock for the write-

protect tab on the “Memory
Stick”. (

1 page 39)

c Release the protect in the index

screen. (

1 page 50)

The “Memory Stick”
cannot be formatted.

c Release the lock for the write-

protect tab on the “Memory
Stick”. (

c The “Memory Stick” is broken.

Use another “Memory Stick”.

The thumbnails are not
displayed.

c The pictures are the JPEG

format but not DCF-compatible.
Use the DCF-compatible
