Connecting/Disconnecting a Docking Station
You can connect a docking station (supplied or optional) to your VAIO computer.
To connect the docking station
1. Attach the docking station to the vertical stand.
Be sure to attach the docking station as illustrated below left.
Do not attach the docking station upside down.
Hint
If you use the docking station without the vertical stand, lay down the docking
station with the VAIO logo facing upward as illustrated below.
2. Connect the docking station to an AC power source.
Plug one end of the power cord (1) into the AC adapter (2) and the other end into an
AC outlet.
Plug the cable from the AC adapter into the DC IN port (3) on the docking station (4).
3. Plug the docking station connector to both the docking station port and the DC IN port
on your VAIO computer.
