How to Use
Installing/Removing the Battery Pack
Install the battery pack into the battery compartment on the bottom of your VAIO computer.
Be sure to install the battery pack before using the computer.
Do not use the computer without installing the battery pack, as it may
cause the computer to malfunction.
To install the battery pack
1. Turn off your VAIO computer, disconnect the power cord and all connection cables,
and close the LCD screen lid.
2. Align the battery pack with the battery compartment and fit it into the compartment.
3. Tighten the eight screws firmly with a coin.
Tighten the four rubber screws (1), two short metallic screws (2), and then two long
metallic screws (3).
To remove the battery pack
1. Turn off your VAIO computer, disconnect the power cord and all connection cables,
and close the LCD screen lid.
2. Unscrew the eight screws with a coin.
Note
Be careful not to lose the removed screws.
