Connecting to an AC outlet
The speaker can operate by AC adaptor or built-in lithium-ion battery (rechargeable).
Charge the battery before using the speaker for the first time.
You can operate the speaker by battery instead of the AC adaptor by charging the speaker before use.
1. Connect the AC power cord (supplied) to the AC adaptor (supplied).
2. Connect the AC adaptor (supplied) to the DC IN 18 V jack.
3. Plug the AC power cord connected to the AC adaptor to an AC outlet securely.
When the speaker is connected to an AC outlet via the AC adaptor, charging starts and the CHARGE indicator
lights up. Charging is completed in about 3 hours* and the indicator goes off.

Time that is required to charge the empty battery to its full capacity.
Usage life of lithium-ion battery
When the NETWORK OFF/ON switch is OFF: Approx. 6 hours
When the NETWORK OFF/ON switch is ON: Approx. 3 hours
Time stated above may vary, depending on ambient temperature or conditions of use.
