The LCD screen goes off automatically after you start recording.

[Camera/Audio] [ Recording Assist] [Auto Monitor Off].
2. Select the desired item.
On
Dims the LCD screen about 3 seconds after starting recording.
Off
Does not dim the LCD screen automatically.
