Buttons do not work.

 The buttons are locked. Slide the HOLD switch

back (

).

 Moisture condensation has occurred (Moisture

may condense inside the player if the player is

brought directly from a cold place to a warm

place). Leave the player aside for a few hours

until the moisture evaporates.

 The remaining battery power is insufficient.

Playback has stopped

suddenly.

When trying to play an MP3 audio track that
cannot be played on this player, playback will
stop. Press to select other tracks ( page

The player has been subjected to vibration for a
long time. Stop the vibration and start playback
again.

The backlight is not

 “Backlight” is set to “Always Off.” Set it to “10

sec” or “30 sec” (

page 53).

 Characters that cannot be displayed on the player

are involved. Use the SonicStage software to

rename the title with appropriate.

The display turns off.

 The display automatically turns off if there is no

operation for about 30 seconds in stop mode

when using the battery. When scrolling track

titles, etc., the display turns off about 30 seconds

after scrolling is finished. Also, the display turns

off when pressing and holding

. For all the

cases, press any button to turn on the display

again.
