Moving a file to a different folder (MOVE)

Moves the selected file to the selected folder.

1. Select the file you want to move.

2. In the stop mode, press MENU to enter the menu mode.

3. Press

or

to select “MOVE,” and then press

PLAY/ENTER.

4. Press

or

to select the folder that you want to move the file into, and

then press

PLAY/ENTER.

The file is moved to the last position in the destination folder.
When you move a file to another folder, the original file in the previous folder
will be erased.

5. Press

(stop) to exit the menu mode.

Note

You cannot move a protected file. To move the file, release the protection first, and
then move the file.
If 99 files have been recorded in the folder to which you want to move a file, you
cannot move it.

Hint

To cancel moving the file, press

(stop) before step 4.
