Troubleshooting

This section contains information on how to solve common operational problems, and warnings
you may receive.

Go through the following lists if you encounter any problems. If this checklist does not solve the
problem, contact your system administrator.

If others have similar problems, there may be a system error.

Operational problems

No display

The battery level is low or the
telephone is defective.

Charge the battery or contact
system administrator.

No ringing

The ringer off icon is on or ringer
volume set to silent or the
telephone is defective.

Long press on the Sound off
key, or increase volume, or
contact system administrator.

No change in time &
date setting

PBX dependent.

Changes in the telephone
appear after a maximum of 24
hours after a change in the
system or by tuning the
telephone off and on again.

Ring volume cannot be
set to level 0
Or,
Not possible to mute
the telephone by long
pressing the Sound off
key or Mute button.

If the handset parameter Disable
permanent mute
is enabled by
WinPDM or AIWS device
manager, it is not possible to turn
off the sound.
