The factory default settings can be
changed to suit your personal prefer-
ences and usage.

Changing the language settings

In the stop mode, press
“SET” for at least 2
seconds.

The default setting menu
appears.

Use the “Joystick” to
make the selection,
then press “ENT”.

For the procedure after
selecting the setting item,
refer to the pages
indicated on the table below.

Note: When the settings are changed, the old

settings are overwritten. Make a note of the
current settings before making changes.
The settings are not cleared even when the
vehicle’s battery is disconnected.

Set the audio language, subtitle
language and menu language.

Set the screen size according to
the type of TV monitor being used.

Set the country code when
setting the rating level.

Set the rating level (parental
lock).

Takes DVD digital sound and
converts it into 48 kHz/16 bit
sampling digital sound.

Set the digital output.

Set whether the front panel’s
LED indicators are on or off.

Set the Closed Caption and
Ai-NET setting.

The audio language, subtitle language and
menu language can be set according to your
preferences.

Select “LANGUAGES” under
“Changing the default settings
(SET UP)” on page 24.
