You can use your computer as a digital video recorder, and record your favorite TV
programs or capture video from an external source into your hard drive. Record
programs or video in high-quality AVI, MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 file format. You can also
save the recordings in VCD, SVCD or DVD format for burning on discs.

When playing back a recorded file, you can view it individually or simultaneously play
the recording while watching live TV in a picture-in-picture window.

Setup

Recording Programs or Video

Select a TV channel that is showing the TV program that you want to record. Whereas
to record video, click

to switch to the Composite or S-Video source. Then follow

the procedure below to record.

1. First, determine the length of recording you want and the destination folder

where to save the recording. Click the

Setup button and click the

Record Storage tab. Then specify a Duration or choose the Unlimited
recording option. Click

to choose a destination folder. (Refer to the section

titled Setup for more details.)
