6.1.1

Setting the Machine # DIP-switches

The Machine # determines the position of a

VS-88HD unit, specifying which

VS-88HD unit is being controlled when several VS-88HD units connect to a

PC or serial controller. Set the Machine # on a

VS-88HD unit via SETUP

DIPS 1, 2, 3 and 4, according to Table 3.
When using a standalone

VS-88HD unit, set the Machine # to 1. When

connecting more than one

VS-88HD unit, set the first machine (the Master)

that is closest to the PC, as Machine # 1 (DIP 1 set to OFF and DIP-switches

2, 3 and 4 set to ON).
