" Note: Optical performance of a CCD scanner is always best near the middle of the scan
area. However, the specified scan quality is guaranteed for the entire scan area.
3 Close the TPU of the scanner.
" Note: The removable TPU makes it possible to scan from books and magazines. When you
put a thick original on the reflective glass plate, the TPU adjusts automatically to the thickness
of the original.
If necessary, you can remove the TPU completely by lifting it. Before removing the TPU you
have to disconnect the TPU cable. After replacing the TPU, do not forget to reconnect the TPU
cable.
