Inserting the battery
1. Open the battery compartment on the back.
2. Insert the enclosed battery. Mind the correct polarity (indicated on the bottom of the
battery case)!
3. Close the battery case.
4. If the device is not used for a longer period of time, remove the battery from the device
to prevent a “leaking out” of battery acid.
CAUTION:
• Batteries must not be disposed of in the garbage. Please bring used batteries to
competent collection centers or back to the dealer.
• Only replace the battery with a different battery of the same type.
WARNING:
Never expose batteries to high temperatures or direct sunlight or throw batteries into
fire for
danger of explosion!
Charging the battery
The device is operated through the supplied lithium-ion battery. Charge the battery as
follows:
1. Insert the battery. ( see “Inserting the battery”)
2. Insert the Mini USB plug from the charger cable into the socket (2) of the unit. Connect
the USB plug to a powered-on computer. The indicator lamp lights up red and the bat-
tery charges.
3. If the battery is completely charged, the indicator light (1) will light up green.
4. Remove the charger cable from the speaker and PC.
CAUTION:
Never leave the unit unattended when it is charging.
