DPOF (Digital Print Order Format)

DPOF refers to a format used by DPOF enabled digital cameras to record printing information on a memory
card, such as the images to be printed or the number of prints. DPOF enables those images to be printed, or
the number of prints to be designated with a digital camera that supports DPOF function, thereby eliminating
the need to make the settings on the printer. Therefore, using a DPOF-compatible printer makes printing easy.
The P-440 is compatible with DPOF selection of images, quantity, rotation and trimming. When an xD-
Picture Card or PC card is inserted into the printer, DPOF information is read from the media and image
selection is performed automatically. If you do not use DPOF selection, select “CANCEL” for the “ALL
SELECT” function in “Printing All Pictures on a Card” (page 94).
