Using Built-in DVD Player (AVIC-900DVD only)
Adjusting Settings
You can change the DVD’s default settings,
including sound track, subtitle, menu language,
or setting of viewing restrictions. Normally, the
DVD is played with the contents set in the default
setting screen.
Basic Operation of the default
setting screen

Press the 7 7 7 7 button while playing.
The disc stops playing.

Press the MENU button for one second.
The SET-UP MENU appears.

To show the next page, highlight “NEXT”
in the right corner of display, and click the
OK button.
The SET-UP MENU changes.

Move the joystick up or down to select the
desired item, and click the OK button.
To return to the previous screen, highlight
“PREV” and click the OK button, or press the
RTN button.

If you press the MENU button in the SET-
UP MENU, the SET-UP MENU disappears
and the Stop condition returns.

Select “RTN” and click the OK button or
press the RTN button to return to the previ-
ous screen.
Items User can Change
This section introduces the contents that can be
set. The contents with an asterisk (*) mark indi-
cates the default setting.
Setting the subtitle
If you select “SUBTITLE LANG.”, you can oper-
ate three items.
LANGUAGE
This setting controls ON/OFF of subtitle indica-
tion.
ON* :
Subtitles are displayed.
OFF :
Subtitles are not displayed.
ASSIST
The assist subtitle is a subtitle explaining the
scenes for the people with hearing problems. You
can display this if an assist subtitle is stored on a
DVD.
ON* :
Assist subtitles are displayed.
OFF :
Assist subtitles are not displayed.
