Here are the basic instructions for playing a source (such as the PC).

Switch on your system components and this unit.

Start by switching on the playback component, then this unit (press /I STANDBY/
ON

button on the front panel).

• The unit turns on. The button’s central power indicator will fl ash slowly.

About twenty seconds after turning on the power, the following screen appears.
About one minute is required between turning the power on and completion of
startup.

• When you use the unit for the fi rst time, the following screen will automatically

appear after the screen above. Use i/j to select the menu language of this unit, then
press ENTER.

Press input function buttons to select the input function you want to play.

• The input of this unit will switch over, and you will be able to operate other

components using the remote control.

• The input source can also be selected by using the front panel FUNCTION button.

In this case, the remote control won’t switch operational modes.

Enjoy a variety of sounds. (N-50 only)

PURE AUDIO

• The PURE AUDIO mode allows audio signals to be played via the shortest playback

circuit without passing through the DSP, thus reducing noise and producing
playback sound with greatest fi delity to the original.

Hi-Bit 32

• Creates a wider dynamic range with digital sources. Smoother, more delicate

musical expression can be achieved by requantizing 16 bit to 24 bit audio signals to
32 bit.

Playback with NETWORK feature

This unit is equipped with the LAN terminal
and you can enjoy the following features by
connecting your components to these terminals.

• Playback the music fi les stored in PCs

• Listening to Internet radio stations

Playing audio fi les stored on PCs or
other components
