Writing Images to the Front Panel

Click “Panel Ctrl”.

The Front Panel Communication screen will appear.

Click “Connect”.

Lamp:

The lamp will light green when communication with the
front panel is being performed correctly. The lamp will flash
during connection.

Connect:

Starts communication with the front panel.

e

Interrupt:

Terminates communication with the front panel.

r

Write:

Writes opened image data to the selected image number.
(Writing cannot be performed if the correct image type and
image number are not selected.)

Cancel:

Cancels the writing process. (For movies, frames that have
been written prior to the cancel operation will be stored in
the front panel memory.)

Communication information: Communication status with the front panel is displayed.

Selecting an image type:

Display and write image type (Movie, Indicator, BGP) can
be selected. (When writing images, writing cannot be per-
formed if the same image type as the opened data is not
selected.)

Designating numbers:

Display and write image number can be specified. When
specifying a 2 digit number, first click “10+” and then enter
the 2nd digit. The allowed numbers vary depending on the
selected image type. Furthermore, blue numbers indicate
image numbers that can be rewritten. (Black numbers are
for display-purposes only and cannot be rewritten.)

Number display box:

Currently selected image number is displayed.

Clear:

The image number displayed in the number display box is
canceled.

Note:

• For Indicator, only Indicator images downloaded from the Pioneer homepage can be written.

(Indicator images cannot be created with this software.)

• For movies, the writing process will take 5 – 10 minutes. Since the writing process will take

longer with preview playback on, stop preview playback before starting the write process.
