Basics

Selecting the Tuner

Select the “Tuner” as source by pressing
the SOURCE button as many times as
necessary.

Band

Each click changes the band in the following order:

FM1

= FM2 = FM3 = MW/LW

Preset Tuning

You can memorize broadcast stations in buttons 1
through 6 for easy, one-touch station recall.

Preset station recall

Less than 2 seconds

Broadcast station preset memory More than 2 seconds

Note:

• Up to 18 FM stations (6 in FM1, FM2 and FM3) and 6

MW/LW stations can be stored in memory.

• You can also use the small joysitck up/down to recall

broadcast stations memorized in buttons 1 through 6.

Manual and Seek Tuning

You can select the tuning method by changing the length of time you hold the small
joystick left/right.

Manual Tuning (step by step)

Less than 0.5 seconds

Seek Tuning

More than 0.5 seconds

Note:

• If you continue to hold the small joystick left/right for longer than 0.5 seconds, you can skip

broadcasting stations. Seek Tuning starts as soon as you release the small joystick.

• Stereo indicator “STEREO” lights when a stereo station is selected.

This product’s AF function can be switched On and Off. AF should be switched off for
normal tuning operations. (See page 26.)
