This manual provides important information
you need to make full use of your new naviga-
tion system.
The beginning chapters outline this navigation
system. The later chapters describe the details
of the navigation functions.
Chapter 7 describes the operations related to
hands-free phoning by using a mobile phone
featuring Bluetooth® technology.
Chapter 8 to Chapter 19 describe how to con-
trol the AV sources. Please read these chap-
ters when you use the various functions in the
built-in audio and visual source or operate the
audio equipment connected to the navigation
system.
Chapter 21 describes how to change the set-
tings so as to suit your tastes. The behaviour
of your navigation system depends the set-
tings for navigation and audio-visual func-
tions.

About the definition of
terminology
“Front Display” and “Rear Display”
In this manual, the screen that is attached to
the body of this navigation unit will be referred
to as the
“Front Display”. Any additional op-
tional screen that is purchased for use in con-
junction with this navigation unit will be
referred to as the
“Rear Display”.
