Introduction
TOSHIBA DVD-RAM
Utility
TOSHIBA DVD-RAM Utility has a Physical
Format function and Write-Protect function to
DVD-RAM.
This utility is contained in the TOSHIBA Disc
Creator setup module.
To run TOSHIBA DVD-RAM Utility, click ,
select All Programs, TOSHIBA, CD&DVD
Applications, and then click DVD-RAM Utility.
TOSHIBA ConfigFree ConfigFree is a suite of utilities that allow easy
control of communication devices and network
connections. ConfigFree also allows you to find
communication problems and create profiles for
easy switching between location and
communication networks.
To run ConfigFree, click , select All
Programs, TOSHIBA Networking and then click
ConfigFree.
Windows Mobility
Center
This section describes the Windows Mobility
Center. Mobility Center is a utility for accessing
several mobile PC settings quickly in one
window. A maximum of eight tiles are prepared
as the operating system default. Three additional
tiles are also added to your Mobility Center.
Installing the “TOSHIBA Extended Tiles for
Windows Mobility Center” package will add the
following functions.
■ Lock Computer:
Lock your computer without turning it off. This
has the same function as the Lock button at
the bottom of the right pane of the start menu.
■ TOSHIBA Assist:
Open the TOSHIBA Assist if it is already
installed in your computer.
