Installing the TOSHIBA Display
Power Save Driver

The TOSHIBA 'Display Power Save Driver' is an device driver for Windows 2000 that
controls the power-saving function of the monitor. After selecting [Install Windows 2000]
in the SST procedure, the driver will be installed automatically.

To install the driver manually from the SST CD-ROM, follow the procedure below once
the Windows 2000 Server has been installed:

1.

Log-on to Windows 2000 as the Administrator (or as a user having equivalent rights).

2.

Insert the SST CD-ROM.

3.

Start the Explorer.

4.

Change the current directory to:

<CD-ROM>\PUBLIC\UTILS\TOSHIBA\DPS

5.

Double-click setup.exe.

6.

Restart the system.

Installing the PCI Hot Plug
Function

The PCI Hot Plug (PHP) function is only available on Windows 2000 Server and
Windows NT Server 4.0. The necessary modules for PHP installation are included on the
SST CD-ROM, as shown below. To use the PHP function, you must first install them
manually.

For Windows 2000 Server:

<CD-ROM>\PUBLIC\UTILS\INTEL\PHP\W2K

For Windows NT 4.0 Server:

<CD-ROM>\PUBLIC\UTILS\INTEL\PHP\NT4.0
