Appendix 1 Agent Information Add/Delete Tool
The Agent Information Add/Delete Tool is available for an administrator to add or delete Agent
information in the database of a Management Proxy. Use this tool if agent information was not stored
during installation.
1 Starting the Tool
If the Harness Eye Web agent function is installed in the C:\HEW folder, then Regtminf.exe is stored in
C:\HEW\Agent. Activate this command from a command prompt.
2 Using the Tool
Start the Management Proxy to make the TOSHIBA Harness Eye Web Agent Register Service
available. Enter the following command at the command prompt on the agent machine.
Regtminf <add/delete-flag> -p:<proxy-server> [-l: alias-name]
<add/delete-flag> Specifies whether to add or delete agent information.
To add : -a
To delete :-d
-p:<proxy-server> Specifies the management proxy server.
-l:alias-name
Specifies an alias. This parameter can be omitted.
3 Examples
Enter a command at the command prompt to add information to a Management Proxy or delete it from
a Management Proxy.
Example 1: To add agent information to a management proxy named ProxyServer,
enter the following command on the agent machine.
Example 2: To delete agent information from a management proxy named ProxyServer,
enter the following command on the agent machine.
C:\HEW\Agent>Regtminf -d -p:ProxyServer
C:\HEW\Agent>Regtminf -a -p:ProxyServer –l:alias1
