Troubleshooting

Vacuum cleaner won't run.

Possible Causes

Remedies

Power cord not firmly plugged in

Check electrical plug.

Blown household fuse or breaker

Check/replace fuse - Reset breaker.

Vacuum cleaner won't pick up dirt.

Possible Causes

Remedies

Incorrect Height Adjustment

Adjust Powerfoot to correct height setting.

Hose wand not attached to suction opening

Grasp Quick Reach Handle and firmly push Hose
Wand onto the suction opening.

Twist ‘n Snap Hose not securely attached

Make sure Twist ‘n Snap Hose is snapped
into the locked position

Dust Bag is full

Replace with new Dust Bag.

Broken or worn Drive Belt

Replace Drive Belt.

Rotating Floor Brush bristles worn

Replace Brush.

Rotating Floor Brush jammed

Remove brush and clean debris from brush ends.

Clog in vacuum

Follow instructions for clearing clogs.

Tools won't pick up dirt.

Crack or hole in Hose

Replace Hose.

Vacuum Hose, Wand or Tools clogged

Follow instructions for clearing clogs.

Vacuum cleaner is difficult to push.

Incorrect Height Adjustment

Turn Floor Surface Selector to next highest setting.

Rotating Floor Brush not rotating

Check Drive Belt and Brush.
