chocolate

Add ingredients to the Hot Drink Maker and press the “ON” switch. Wait for the Hot
Drink Maker to automatically shut off. Dispense the drink into a mug. Serves 2

During the Spanish conquest of Mexico, Cortez discovered that the ancient Aztecs
were combining cocoa with sugar cane and a variety of spices such as cinnamon
and vanilla to make a hot drink called ‘chocolatl.’ Although this version may be
slightly different than the ancient Aztec recipe, this exotic combination of tastes
arouses the senses within.

Hot cocoa mix**

2 tbsp.

Sugar**

2 cups

Milk

1 tsp.

Ground cinnamon

1 tsp.

Vanilla

Add ingredients to the Hot Drink Maker and press the “ON” switch. Wait for the Hot
Drink Maker to automatically shut off. Dispense the drink into a mug. Serves 2
**You may substitute sugar and cocoa powder with 4 tbsp. of chocolate syrup.
