BT Openzone
By following the separate Installation Guide you
should have already registered your handset to BT
Openzone and have made an Internet call using
BT VoIP. This section describes how to use BT
Openzone to browse the web and check email.
Using BT Openzone
BT Openzone Hotspots and partner hotspots give
you Wi-Fi access to the Internet for VoIP calls
and surfing the net when you are out and about.
To find your nearest Openzone Hotspot,
visit www.btopenzone.com/find
You can use BT Openzone Hotspots
and partner hotspots such as The Cloud
providing you have at least one of:
• A BT Openzone account as part of
your BT Office Anywhere contract.
• Pay per minute BT Openzone vouchers.
• Inclusive BT Openzone minutes
on your BT Home Hub as part of a
BT Total Broadband package.
You can use BT Openzone Hotspots and partner
hotspots wherever they are available.
Register and connect to BT Openzone
1. Ensure the Wi-Fi icon is displayed
and you are in a location which offers
BT Openzone coverage. This means
you are within a Wi-Fi hotspot.
2. From the Home screen, press Start and
scroll to the BT OA Settings icon.
3. Click Openzone Settings.
4. Enter your Openzone username and
password, if they have not already
been entered, then click OK.
