Comm Manager

The Comm Manager lets you enable
or disable phone features.
To open the Comm Manager
1. Click Start then Comm Manager to display

the screen.

2. Scroll to highlight the option you want

and Select it. When disabled, there is an
orange cross in the box. When enabled
there is no orange cross. On some boxes you
will also be given a Settings option. Press
Settings to display the menu optiions.

The buttons are:
1. Select

to enable or disable the phone.

2. Select

to enable or disable Bluetooth.

3. Select

to enable or disable Wi-Fi. When

the box is highlighted, press Settings then
WLAN Settings to change your Wi-Fi settings.

4. Select

to switch between automatically

receiving Outlook emails as they arrive
or manually retrieving them. For more
information, see your HTC user manual.

5. Select

to temporarily stop

active data services (e.g. GPRS).

6. Select

the handset ringer on or off.

7. Select

to open ActiveSync /Windows

Mobile Device Centre so you can transfer
files between your mobile and PC/laptop.

8. Select

to switch Flight

Safe mode on or off.

Internet sharing

This feature lets you plug your laptop into your
handset by USB cable and thus enable your
laptop to connect to the internet through your
handset’s Wi-Fi, BT Openzone or GSM mobile
connection to use email or surf the net.

Other features such as using the Camera, Video
and Media Player, sending and receiving Text
messages and Adding or Removing programs
are all covered in the HTC S620 user manual.
