3.5 BOOM/OUTRIGGER INTERLOCK SYSTEM (10054)
The interlock system allows the boom to be extended to its maximum limits.
Extend Interlock Mode
With outriggers raised (6), telehandler is in extend interlock mode which limits boom
extension (5).
• The boom is limited from extending beyond a point between the “E” and “F”
boom extension indicators.
• Vehicle and Stabil-Trak will function normally.
Outrigger Interlock Mode
With outriggers lowered (7) on firm terrain, telehandler is in outrigger interlock mode
which allows for full boom extension (4).
When outriggers are lowered shift travel select lever into neutral, move neutral lock
lever to neutral lock position and engage the parking brake.
With the outrigger interlock engaged additional systems are automatically activated.
• Stabil-Trak is in locked mode and indicator (8) will illuminate.
• Frame level will be slower than normal.
• Outriggers can be lowered to adjust for any changes in outrigger footing.
Boom must be retracted within the extension limit (5) for any of these conditions to
change.
