6. 5. Care and maintenance after steam vacuuming /

cleaning-vacuuming / steam cleaning / steam ironing

Steam Boiler.

The heater is external to the boiler, and does not scale.
If despite this the warm-up time keeps increasing, the boiler itself should be
descaled.
With the mains connection unplugged, pour about 1 l of water at 50 to 60 °C
into the boiler, and add one or two proprietary descaling tablets.
After allowing about 30 minutes for the descaler to work, vacuum the water
out of the boiler with the loosened scale. Use for this the handgrip (32), the
funnel (59) and the descaling adapter pushed on to the funnel (60).

Appliance, pump, soiled-water tank.

Procedure as specified in section 5.4.
