• Do not operate the centrifuge without a rotor properly attached to the shaft.
• Do not fill tubes while they are in the rotor. Liquid spillage may harm unit.
• Do not attempt to remove samples unless the rotor is completely stopped.
• Do not move the centrifuge while the rotor is spinning.
• Do not use a power source other than which the unit designed to operate on.
• Do not use multi-point extension cords with this centrifuge.
• Do not operate centrifuge near a heat source or at temperatures below 4° C.
• Do not open motor casing of centrifuge. This unit is not designed to be user serviceable, and

opening by unauthorized personnel will void all warranties.

• Never use solvents or flammables near this or any other electrical equipment.
• Never centrifuge flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials.
• Never centrifuge hazardous materials outside of a hood or proper containment facility.
• Never operate the centrifuge with only one strip tube in place.
• Never operate the centrifuge with uneven loads as this may cause abnormal wear and tear to

the motor.

• Always load the rotor symmetrically. Each tube should be counterbalanced by another tube.

When spinning 1, 3, 5, or 7 tubes, load a water-filled tube in the opposite slot. When using

0.2mL PCR tubes, load the tubes in diagonally opposite positions to balance the rotor.

• Always install centrifuge in a well ventilated location.
• Always operate centrifuge on a flat surface.
• Always use Allen wrench (provided) to remove the rotor.
• Always locate the centrifuge within easy access to an electrical outlet.
• Always unplug from power before cleaning. Do not immerse.
• Always use proper disinfection procedures when centrifuging biohazardous compounds.
• CAUTION: This unit is not explosion proof.
• CAUTION: Minimize exposure to UV light.
