Stop and cool off the engine after running the engine for 5 seconds at 3000 rpm,
5 seconds at idle and kept running for over 15 minutes.

Check the coolant level is in between the LOW-FULL in the reserve tank after the
engine is cooled off.

(39) Install back the apron seal cover.

(40) Filling of the power steering fluid.

① Lift up the vehicle.

Fill up the power steering fluid reserve tank up to its maximum level.

③

Turn the steering wheel slowly all the way from lock to lock with the engine
turned off.

Keep adding fluid so it does not run out.

Drop the vehicle.

Leave the vehicle running without pressing on the accelerator for few minutes.

Turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times by keeping the rpm within
1000rpm.

Turn the steering wheel very swiftly from lock to lock by keeping for 2-3

seconds at lock.

Turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times by keeping the rpm within
1000rpm.

※

Turn the steering wheel very swiftly from lock to lock by keeping for 5-6

seconds at lock.

※

Do not keep for over 10 seconds at lock.

Leave the engine turned off and check until there aren’t any bubbles in the
reserve tank. Re do the steps ③-⑦ until there aren’t any bubbles seen in the
reserve tank.

Check if the installation of the (C.38) power steering cooler and the (C.45) φ9

hose is correctly done if bubbles can still be seen in the reserve tank after the ③
-⑦ steps.

The installation of this kit is finished.
